the flu bug has bitten us

The flu sucks!!! I got hit with it on Sunday and I'm barely recovering today. Lauren came home from school today with similar symptoms. We'll see if it turns into anything or if it is just a desire for KFC mashed potatoes and gravy and lying on the couch. Hopefully no one else gets it.

General Young Women's Meeting

The General Young Women's Meeting was Awesome. I loved all of the speakers, especially President Uctdorf. He was a HOOT!!! The women leaders are so wonderful. They are great examples to me. I hope to be even just a little bit like them.

Young Women's

Young Womens rocks. I have been in my calling as second counselor for almost 3 months now. I love the girls and the leaders I get to work with. I never thought I would be in Young Womens. I have always been a Primary or Relief Society gal, but the heavens see fit to allow me a change. I am thrilled. We have had such fun so far. I can't wait to hang out with the girls and attempt to be cool (I hope). The Young Women's General Meeting is coming up on Saturday. I look forward to the great words from the leaders. This calling is just what I have needed in my life.
